Good Life Products - Mannar

Driven by a desire to be self-reliant and create a healthy society, Jena Jeyakanthi launched Good Life in 2020 in Mannar and officially registered the business in 2022. She credits her mother and grandmother, whose wisdom and encouragement led her to start this venture. Over the years, Jena has built a successful business which is dedicated to producing healthy, chemical-free, and preservative-free products.  

Beyond her primary team consisting of her husband and three children, Jena has been able to employ others in her community as well. Along with an all-women production team of 3, she employs a sales and marketing team that includes both men and women, even some of whom are disabled. Supporting her community and nurturing talent that’s often dismissed are very important to her. 

When she initially started the business, she had a humble range of Porridge mixes and hair products. Today, her inventory boasts 42 diverse products, all adhering to her high standards of quality and health. Her product range consists of sambol, rasam powder, curry powder, chilli powder, and masala powder. Currently, through Made by Her, she sells prawn sambal, rasam powder, dry ginger coffee, and vadagam (a local delicacy).   

Looking ahead, Jena has ambitious plans. She aims to start exporting her products and aspires to position Good Life among Sri Lanka's top ten brands in the healthy food category within the next decade.
